Today you are going to concentrate on keyword research. For this system you are going
to concentrate on long tailed keywords. I'll use the relationship niche for this example.
Go back to Ezine Articles and go to the article page you saved in your favorites yesterday.
While on the page of the article you are going to hit the "View" button on your tool bar.
(It's usually on the left side at the top of the page next to "File" and "Edit"). After you
have hit the "View" button, scroll down to where it says "Source". Click on the "Source"
button and a window will pop up in your Windows Notepad(text editor). There you will
see a lot of writing and symbols. It is html code and it will look something like this:

What you are looking for is the word "keywords" I have highlighted it above and bolded
it. The words that follow it that I have highlighted are the long tail keywords we are
looking for. Long tail keywords are phrases (three words or longer), that people type into
the search engines to look for something. What you are going to do is open up Notepad
on your computer and copy and paste those keywords one underneath the other into the
Notepad file. Then go to the next-most-viewed article and do the same thing.
Once you have a few dozen long tailed keywords, it's time to get some more another way.
There are so many keyword tools that you can use. Everyone has their own favorite one
so it will be up to you to find one that you like the best. The ones I use are Micro Niche
Finder and Word Tracker. By typing the keywords you found into these research tools,
you will be able to see an approximate daily search average for the phrase entered.
You are looking for a word that gets at least 30 searches a day. Go through these tools
with different variations of phrases. So for the relationship niche you would type in: get
my ex back, getting an ex back, ways to get an ex back and so forth.
Any word that you see that has at least 30 searches a day, you need to copy it and paste it
on the Notepad file you have opened.
